Hardwood, laminate, vinyl plank & tile—tight seams, level surfaces, zero mess
Your floor is a system: subfloor, moisture control, leveling, underlayment, and the finished surface. We prep first so the finish looks perfect and stays that way through Nova Scotia’s humidity swings.

What we do
- Subfloor Prep & Leveling: Screw-down, patching, self-leveling compound, and squeak elimination.
- Moisture Control: Testing slab/subfloor, vapor barriers, and proper acclimation of materials.
- Hardwood & Engineered: Nail, glue, or floating installs; stair treads and nosings to match.
- Laminate & Vinyl Plank (LVP/LVT): Durable, water-resistant options perfect for basements and kitchens.

- Finish Details: Baseboards, quarter-round, transitions, reducers, and door undercuts for a seamless look.

FAQs
Do floors need to acclimate? Yes—most wood/laminate products should acclimate 48–72 hours in the space. We’ll advise by product.
Can you install over existing floors? Often. If height, door swing, and transitions work—and the substrate is sound—we can float over. Otherwise we remove and prep.
How long does it take? Small rooms: 1–2 days. Whole-home projects vary by prep, layout complexity, and product.
